These are perfect for a fall or winter wedding. Not only are they easy, but they’re also adorable. You can complete this look on a very minimal budget, as well. All you need are some mugs from the dollar store and water-based pens. Write your initials or sweet thank you to your guests and your wedding date. Then place them in the oven at 350 F for 30 minutes and voila you have personalized mugs for way cheaper than bulk companies online. Plus your guests will love the personal touch.
Dessert in a cup
Want to give your guests a sweet, but don’t want to give them the usual candy? Give them the ingredients to make something sweet in a cup or mason jar! There are endless possibilities here. Brownies, hot cocoa, cake, cobbler, cheesecake, cinnamon roll; the list goes on and on. Try it out and let us know how it goes! Add a cute tag and you’re set.
Crayons and coloring for the kiddos
If you are having kids at your wedding you’ll want to include them and give them something to do. A great way to keep them occupied while waiting for dinner is to provide a little set of crayons and small wedding-themed coloring sheets. Include a couple pieces of candy and the kids will be having a ball on your big day!
Getting married around the holidays? Instead of spending thousands of dollars on personalized ornaments for your guests. Make your own! It’s very simple to order some plastic christmas balls and some sharpies and make your own ornament. Include your initials and wedding date and hand them out at your wedding.
Bags of coffee
If you and your fiancé are coffee-lovers then try out this favor. It’s simple, smells great, and cheap! You can use small mason jars, little baggies, or small burlap bags. This is a great favor for any wedding theme. You can personalize it even further with your favorite coffee, a coffee from your favorite spot, or from where you’ll be honeymooning. This makes your guests feel included and is a great keepsake they can use after the wedding.
Who doesn’t love a good candle? This is a great project for the DIYer and non-crafty person alike. If you are a do it yourselfer you can use a small jar, make your own wax and labels and put a personal touch into the scent of your favor. If you want something a little simpler, but still budget conscious, you can purchase a cheap candle and put your own label on it. Tie a little thank you tag on the top and your guests will be thinking of you and the fun they had at your wedding every time they light it.
Do you have a green thumb and want to show that off at your wedding? Gift your guests a personal plant to bring home. Maybe it’s one of your favorites or holds some symbolism to you relationship. I am obsessed with the little succulents, but also love the idea of plants your guests can replant at home. Whatever it is your guests will love it and it’s a great renewable gift.
This is a cute, easy, and cheap favor. It is a twist on the generic candy favors. Just put some popcorn kernels in a little baggie with a cute tag that says something like, “Thanks for popping by!”and there you go! Send us pics of your cute twists on generic favors!
This has a bit more crafty than some of the others in the list, but it’s absolutely darling! Purchase some small cork stoppers from a craft store, as well as some fake flowers, a small jewel or gemstone, or even a little doorknob. Affix the figure to the end of the cork and you have an adorable personalized wine stopper favor. We love the marbled stone stopper for a rustic vineyard or barn wedding!
